A.R. Mays Construction celebrated the groundbreaking of Legacy Sports Arena & Hotel. The 171,000 SF facility will become a destination for amateur sporting events for people of all ages to North Phoenix. The state-of-the-art arena will feature two NHL-sized ice rinks, synthetic practice rink and a large glass floor with LED lighting that will illuminate the boundary lines for various sports including basketball, volleyball, dodgeball, soccer, lacrosse and pickleball. To accommodate traveling teams and families, the 58,000 SF hotel next door will cater specifically to their needs. Construction begins this spring and is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2020.
