Blanco Cocina + Cantina – Tempe is a single-story building with 7,000 SF of interior space and a 3,500 SF covered patio. The design embraces its urban surroundings while incorporating thermally modified natural wood, which enhances the structure’s aesthetic appeal and provides resilience to urban challenges. The interplay of CMU textures enhances the building’s visual interest, and underscores the sophisticated design language, where the rugged meets the refined, creating a rich, layered experience that resonates with both the urban surroundings and the natural materials used. The wooden pergolas extend an inviting embrace to the outdoors, seamlessly blending interior and exterior spaces.
